Adventures of Cookie and Cream coming to a DS near you

Agetec took a gamble and released From Software’s Kuri Kuri Mix on the Playstation 2 under the name the Adventures of Cookie and Cream. It was a two player co-op puzzle game where you shared the same controller to progress through levels. As a party game it was creative, but never really caught on. From Software announced that they are wrapping up work on Kuri Kuri DS Otasuke Island, a sequel to the PS2 game, scheduled for release on March 29, 2007 in Japan. Kuri Kuri DS Otasuke Island has a similar two player, one device cooperative play set up. One player uses the buttons and the other player uses the touch screen. As a co-op game Kuri Kuri DS might have some potential, but one tiny DS Lite between two people might feel cramped.
