Aksys announced more PlayStation to PC ports during its Anime Expo 2016. It will release both Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assault and XBlaze Lost: Memories on Steam. Release dates weren’t announced for the Windows PC versions of either game, but Aksys reported they will be “coming soon.”
Aegis of Earth: Protonovus Assault is a strategic game with tower defense elements that originally appeared on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. In the game, players attempt to defend cities by rotating weapons and defense to protect against giant monsters that will attack from all sides, assigning team members to make the most of their special skills. It offers 30 missions to clear, with 15 different kinds of enemies.
XBlaze Lost: Memories is a visual novel that originally appeared on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It’s a fan disc to XBlaze Code: Embryo, which was released on Steam earlier this year, and prequel to BlazBlue. Players follow Me, a young girl who bares a striking similarity to a pink-haired BlazBlue warrior, who’s searching for her missing little sister, who looks a lot like said pink-haired warrior’s brunette sister. This search takes her into another realm where she’s guided by a young woman named Nobody and sees memories from members of XBlaze Code: Embryo’s cast.
