The console version of After Burner Climax isn’t only for Japan. While still unannounced, Sega has plans to release it worldwide.

How do we know? The ESRB just rated it for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. After Burner Climax, according to the ESRB is “an arcade-style action game in which players pilot a fighter jet through bright photo-realistic environments. Players dodge planes, rockets, and bullets while targeting enemy aircraft. Most of the jets—even the missiles/gunfire—appear somewhat fantastical.”

After Burner Climax is scheduled for a spring release in Japan. The downloadable game will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10) or 900 yen ($10) on the PlayStation Store.
