After Five Years Of Development This is Grandia Online

Gungho is seriously releasing Grandia Online. A trailer gives us a first look at the PC MMO and the IP gauge from Grandia Xtreme found its way into the battle system. Unlike many MMOs everyone has a computer controlled partner. I suppose Game Arts developed Grandia Online this way so fans of the series can solo through the story. Groups can challenge special maps that hold powerful monsters.

Grandia Online is not currently in beta. Gungho is looking for 5,000 users to run a technical test first. Interested parties can sign up here, but you need a Japanese version of Windows XP or Vista to apply.
