Volition has released a new trailer for Agents of Mayhem, its third-person game set in the world of Saints Row after the events of Saints Row IV’s Gat out of Hell. There will be 12 M.A.Y.H.E.M. agents to choose from in the full game, but this first trailer has Persephone Brimstone introducing us to the three members of the organization’s Franchise Force. They are Hollywood, Fortune, and Hardtack.
The Agents of Mayhem trailer offers a mix of event scenes and gameplay footage. Playing with the Saturday morning cartoon vibe of the trailer, each character also has an animated cutscene offering a peek at their lives before they became agents. We first learn about Hollywood, who got his start as a reality TV star who was involved in other, more mature, projects, before moving on to Fortune the sky pirate and Hardtack the former naval officer.
Agents of Mayhem will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 15, 2017 in North America and August 18, 2017 in Europe. Pre-orders will include cosplay skins, while Day One Edition includes the Legal Action Pending DLC that adds six “geeky” agent outfits.
