The 4.7 Honkai: Star Rail update will add the Aeon Aha as a playable character and a new “Keeping Up with Star Rail” trailer confirms they can make all Elation characters in their party into Emanators. Each character who is made an “Emanator” during a battle with them will gain a new ability as a result.
The fact that Aha can make Elation characters in Honkai: Star Rail Emanators comes up fairly quickly in the new video. There are descriptions for each of the seven allies showing what the unique abilities are for each one when they become Emanators. Here’s the full list of official HoYoVerse descriptions taken from the trailer:
- Aventurine – Waveflair: When the Path of Elation ascends, if Aeon Aha is the only Elation teammate, the effect in the Trace “Ravel in Raging Tides” that triggers when Aventurine – Waveflair is the only Elation character will also take effect, and this effect is enhanced. The SPD of all allies increases, and after a teammate uses an attack, Aventurine – Waveflair gains additional “Fervor” and Bliss.
- Evanescia: When the Path of Elation ascends, overflow Energy can accumulate, which is cleared after using an Ultimate to regenerate the corresponding amount of Energy. This instance of regeneration will not trigger the Talent’s Certified Banger effect. The DMG dealt ignores a portion of the enemy target’s DEF. Accumulating a certain amount of “Party Trick” increases the next Ultimate DMG multiplier and the Elation DMG multiplier dealt via the Talent during this Ultimate. This effect cannot stack.
- Pearl: When the Path of Elation ascends, Pearl’s Max “Party Trick” limit increases. At the end of the extra turn provided by the Ultimate, the “Certified Banger” and Punchline gained at the start of the extra turn are partially retained.
- Silver Wolf – Lv 999: When the Path of Elation ascends, “Hidden MMR” can overflow when it reaches its max limit. CRIT DMG increases. Every 1 point of “Party Trick” gained also grants a portion of “Hidden MMR.”
- Sparxie: When the Path of Elation ascends, Elation Skill DMG multiplier increases, and ally targets ignore a portion of the enemy target’s DEF when dealing DMG. When “Straight Fire” is triggered, it provides extra Bliss based on the number of “Party Trick” points possessed.
- Trailblazer (Elation): When the Path of Elation ascends, the CRIT DMG boost effect provided by the Ultimate additionally increases and takes effect on all allies. Before the Ultimate triggers Aeon Aha’s Elation Skill, it additionally triggers the Trailblazer’s Elation Skill. This Elation Skill’s DMG multiplier increases and is calculated based on the highest value of “Party Trick” held by an ally character. Then, Aeon Aha’s Elation Skill is triggered, with its True DMG changed to be calculated based on the DMG dealt by the aforementioned Trailblazer’s Elation Skill, and is distributed equally among all enemies.
- Yao Guang: When the Path of Elation ascends, the DMG multiplier of the “Great Boon” effect increases. Yao Guang regenerates a fixed amount of Energy after using her Ultimate and gains Bliss.

As a reminder, Aha isn’t the only big addition in 4.7. There will be Affinitive Eidolons added for Acheron, Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan that buff the characters, and the characters will all get rerun banners during that version as a result.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and Aha and the 4.7 patch arrive on November 11, 2026.
