Acquire announced Akiba’s Beat for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as the latest installment of their Akiba’s Trip series, and has revealed a new concept trailer, showing us more of its world, characters, and gameplay.
As previously detailed, the story revolves around the protagonist and friends being imprisoned by delusions and trapped in a world where Sunday keeps repeating. The dungeons of the game are embodiments of these delusions, where you’ll run into monsters in symbol encounter-style gameplay.
Akiba’s Beat will release in Japan in fall 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. You can read more about the game and its characters in our earlier report.
