Akiba’s Trip Used To Let Players Smash Bloodsuckers With An Xbox 360

Ah, Acquire’s quirky humor weaved its way into Akiba’s Trip, the PSP action-adventure game where you expose vampire-like creatures in Akihabara.

When Akiba’s Trip was early in development Acquire put PS3s in the game for players to use as a weapon. However, during debugging the developers were asked if this item would be an odd addition.

Acquire decided to change the item into an Xbox 360, but were asked the same question. Instead of redesigning the object, Acquire changed it’s name. That’s not an Xbox 360 after all, it’s a "small heater."

Watch out vampires, those Xbo – space heaters are dangerous! Akiba’s Trip comes out on May 19 in Japan.
