Developer Alchemist posted a "state of emergency" message on the official Galgun site. The Xbox 360 game is set to launch in 79 days, but suddenly the publisher is holding talks with Microsoft about the game’s content.
Galgun has players protect a boy from from schoolgirls lining up to confess their love after he’s accidentally hit with cupid’s arrow. As a guardian angel, you have to ward them off with pheromones so the boy can reach his true love. In case you missed it, this is what Galgun looks like in action.
Alchemist (jokingly?) says panties in parentheses, which could be the morally questionable content in the game. Microsoft and Alchemist are discussing revisions and/or amendments to the game. It’s unclear if this will affect Galgun’s release date or not. The game, developed by Mega Man 9 team Inti Creates, is slated for January 27. So far, it has not been announced for North America and while we don’t say this often don’t expect an international release.
