All 3 Answers to the Death Stranding 2 Rainy Questions

Once Tomorrow joins the DHV Magellan crew in Death Stranding 2, Rainy will periodically ask Sam for the answers to questions to help with the young woman’s education. There are only three of these, and they aren’t terribly difficult. I only found the second one to be a real challenge. There’s no penalty for getting them wrong, so you won’t miss the three vehicle decals they unlock, but here are the correct answers for each one to help you speed through these pop quizzes. 

What are the three answers to the questions Rainy asks in Death Stranding 2?

Rainy will start asking Sam questions that tend to involve general knowledge and logic puzzle answers once Tomorrow starts opening up and you get to about the halfway point of Death Stranding 2. So by Episode 7, you might be pulled into Tomorrow’s room by her before heading out on a delivery. 

The first question is simple. It asks what the life cycle of a platypus is compared to a plant or a human being. The two known images show it as a baby, then an adult. The missing one here is “Platypus Egg.” Press up to select that.

The second is slightly more difficult, as it involves spacial awareness. The final product will be a 3x2x2, 3D rectangle. Two pieces are shown already, and there are four possible options for the final piece needed to complete the shape. You want the the “L” shaped block. Press right to select it.

The final question involves math and thinking ahead. Rainy shows you a map of Australia that focuses on the F1 West Fort Knot location as a starting point and asks you to pick the next four stops in the order that would make for the quickest journey. There will be labels for things like BTs, but don’t let that throw you off. The numerical notations are the important ones here. First, press up to select the 8’30 B answer. After that, choose the 4’00 journey to A and press left. From there, pick the 11’00 C option and press right. FInally, choose the remaining 4’15 option D and press down.
