Nintendo has announced a launch date for Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, the first entry in the series for the Nintendo Wii U. Players will be able to take to the court on November 20.

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash features singles and doubles matches for solo or multiplayer fun. Off-screen play is possible, thanks to the GamePad. Also, this installment offers Mega Battles, where Mega Mushrooms may come into play to increase characters’ sizes, and Jumpshot moves.

Nintendo has also stated that there will be new cast members included in Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. However, these new players are yet to be announced.
