Where to find All Corel Alexander Crystal locations in FF7 Rebirth

Unlike the Junon Divine Intel in FF7 Rebirth, Corel is actually broken up into two maps. After leaving Costa del Sol in Chapter 6, you gain access to the first open-world section of Corel which is in the northern map of the region. However, you need to complete Chapter 8: All That Glitters before you can actually access Corel Divine Intel 2 and 3.

After finishing the Gold Saucer segment, you will obtain the Buggy vehicle, which unlocks the southern Corel desert region. With that out of the way, we have already mapped out where each Alexander Sanctuary can be found in the Chapter 6 region. Below is a map of all Corel Divine Intel in FF7 Rebirth:

Here is the location of the two Corel Divine Intel that are located in the southern desert section of the map after Chapter 8:

Corel Divine Intel Alexander Sanctuary Locations

Knowing where each Corel Divine Intel is located is only half the battle. At every Sanctuary in Corel, you must also complete a Synchronization mini-game to obtain the Alexander Crystal. The game works by giving you a sequence of buttons that you must press in the correct order and timing without seeing them visually.

You can find a map for each Corel Divine Intel location below, as well as a breakdown of how to reach each Alexander Sanctuary.

Alexander Sanctuary α

Corel Divine Intel 1 is fairly easy to reach, as it can be found directly from the path leading out of Costa del Sol. Look for a small pool of water leading into a cave opening. Have Cloud hop on his mount and then swim into the cave opening to discover Alexander Sanctuary α. The sanctuary may be hard to see at first, as the cave opening is obscured by jagged rocks.

As stated above, you will need to progress past Chapter 8 to access Corel Divine Intel 2. Once you have the Buggy vehicle and can reach the southern Corel desert, you can then look for the Alexander Sanctuary. Finding Corel Divine Intel 2 is a bit tricky, as you need to use the game’s grappling hook mechanic. Look for a giant yellow construction tractor-arm in the location marked on the map above.

Tilt your camera up until you see the Grappling Hook icon flash on your screen. Next, hold the “L2” button down to have Cloud throw out his Grappling Hook to the yellow arm. You will now be pulled up into the air, ready to swing to the next location needed to reach the Alexander Crystal.

You will now want to swing Cloud back and forth on his rope to gain momentum. Tilt your camera up again and use the “L2” button to use your grappling hook on a second yellow construction pulley that is suspended in the air above you. If timed correctly, Cloud will now automatically jump to the next hook.

Finally, have Cloud swing to the plateau below him. You will know you are aiming at the right place as the “Circle” button will pop up. The platform also has a cave entrance in front of it. Once Cloud lands on the platform, run inside the cave to find Alexander Sanctuary β.

Just like the previous Sanctuary, Corel Divine Intel 3 can only be reached with the FF7 Rebirth Grappling Hook mechanic. Head to the place marked on the map above and look up in the air for a blue ribbon hanging off a tree branch. Tilt your camera until you see the Grappling Hook icon, and then press “L2” to have Cloud jump to the branch.

Next, have Cloud swing on the rope to the left of the tree and look for the giant steel beam in the air. You should see another blue ribbon hanging from the structure. Swing Cloud close enough and then press “L2” to hook on to the construction beam that is suspended in the air.

For the last step, you are going to want to have Cloud Swing his rope to the left of the steel beam structure. Using your camera, til to the right and look for the yellow steps on the side of the mountain. Have Cloud swing close to the cliffside and then press the “Circle” button to hop off and latch on to one of the yellow steps. Use the yellow rocks to climb up the cliff. Once you have reached the top of the mountain, Alexander Sanctuary γ can be found in a cave directly in front of you.
