All New Anime Series Streaming on Amazon Prime Video in Spring 2025
There are four anime series in total that will be available on Prime Video this season. These four series include some fantastic exclusives that will not be available to stream legally anywhere else. Here are all four of the new anime series that will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video for the Spring 2025 season, including their respective release dates:
- The Dinner Table Detective: April 4, 2025
- From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman: April 5, 2025
- Masuda Kousuke Gekijou: Gag Manga Biyori Go: April 5, 2025
- Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX: April 9, 2025
Our Prime Video Spring 2025 Anime Recommendations
Since there are only four anime series in general that are available as part of the Prime Video lineup this season, there are only a few recommendations we can do. I will say you should just try out all four shows. It is possible you will find something you like this way. That said, I expect two of the shows to be possible hits.
The almost guaranteed hit of these series is Gundam GQuuuuuuX. This stunning new TV series in the franchise comes from Studio Khara. You might know Khara from the Rebuild of Evangelion movies. Plus, Hideaki Anno is even involved. The series is quite different from past Gundam shows, but a must-watch this season.
The other show worth considering is The Dinner Table Detective. There’s something special about a good mystery anime and this looks to fit the bill (pun intended). In addition, it is far more comedic than you might expect. This works to the series’ benefit.
The Spring 2025 anime season will begin on Amazon Prime Video on April 4, 2025.
