While this isn’t No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle HD, No More Heroes: Red Zone Edition includes five bosses from the sequel for Travis to fight. Skelter Helter, Nathan Copeland, Kimi Howell, Matt Helms, and Alice Twilight are in the PlayStation 3 port along with plenty of gore.
All of the dismemberments are kind of a new feature for Japan. No More Heroes was censored on Wii. The Xbox 360 version added it in bumping No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise up to an adults only CERO Z rating. The PlayStation 3 version, however, kept the edits and was rated CERO D. No More Heroes: Red Zone Edition restores the game’s carnage.
Konami confirmed the No More Heroes 2 cameo fights and the gore level. We asked them about the extra missions and online rankings, but have not heard back by press time. No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise will be released in North America later this year.
