Amnesia Memories Brings A Little Love To PlayStation Vita And PC

Amnesia_keyart_1000pxIdea Factory has a library of otome or romance novel-like video games. Only a few titles such as the Hakuoki series, Sweet Fuse, and Scarlet Fate have been localized.

Now, Idea Factory International is beginning to localize and distribute their otome games for the West. Amnesia Memories from the popular Amnesia series will be available for PlayStation Vita and Steam in August. The English localized version will have the original Japanese voiceovers.

You play as a nameless heroine who has lost her memories. A spirit known as Orion helps you recover your memories, but before they come back you’ll explore a familiar world as a stranger. Amnesia Memories has five guys to date and while you’re trying to start a relationship you can’t let on that you have amnesia or you could lose your chance to get your memories back.

Players will have to watch three parameters – affection, trust, and suspicion – which change depending on your conversation choices. If suspicion is too high you might end up with a bad ending. Amnesia Memories has over 20 different endings to discover*. Players will also be able to try mini games like Air Hockey and Rock, Paper, Scissors which you can play with other characters in the game.

Update: An earlier version of the post reported 26 endings. Idea Factory sent an updated statement saying Amnesia Memories has "over 20" endings.
