Bandai Namco has officially confirmed that Android 17 will arrive as the next Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character sometime later this month, along with a new Space Arena stage, and more in the latest issue of V-Jump. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

Android 17 is said to be based off the one from Dragon Ball Super, so it won’t be the same 17 you see fighting alongside Android 18. He’ll be available later this month, priced at 500 yen.

Here are some details on Android 17, starting with his super specials:

  • Barrier Explosion – Puts up a barrier around his entire body for a dash attack. Can also be used in midair.

  • End Game – Goes behind the opponent for a combo attack.

  • Super Electric Strike (Meteor Attack) – Charges energy in a whirlpool in both hands and launches. Can also be used in midair.

A major update will be available this month as well that’ll add the new “Space Arena” stage for PS4 and Xbox One, and likely PC. The Switch version will arrive later. Furthermore, seasonal Z Capsules with Halloween-themed lobby characters and stamps will be available through November.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Switch version arrives on September 28, 2018.
