Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer To Get A New Sharing Function Via Update

Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer getting a new share function called “Tsukuttaa” (made it) that allows players to share and check out designs made by others.

 

COb8ihtUsAIdQhu The update will be available for free on September 16th in Japan. In addition to being able to show off the homes you’ve designed, you’ll get to learn from others by checking out their designs as well. Additionally, this feature will let you participate in a monthly design contest.

After making a house for a villager, you’ll get to upload it online through the sharing feature.

You’ll get to look up different designs through various filters. The new one will let you check out the latest designs, while the popular search lets you look through four different categories out of “Cool,” “Cute,” “Unique,” and “I’d live there.” You can also mix two of these categories to find something that has a bit of both.

Once you go visit another player’s designs,  you’ll get check out their ranking points for each category, and also give them your own score.

As for the monthly “Home Contest,” it will take place each month from the 1st through 15th, and will be based on certain themes. Once the results are shown, players will get to check out the homes of the winners. You can also score some exclusive rare items by winning these contests.

 

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will release in North America on September 25th, and later in Europe and Australia on October 2nd and 3rd for Nintendo 3DS.
