Nintendo started sharing new item designs themed after Splatoon Raiders in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The company created the new designs to help promote the new Splatoon game that is coming soon to Nintendo Switch 2.
The lineup consists of a customized tank top called the Squid Tank Top and an uchiwa fan named Smallfry Fan. As the names imply, the tank top features the Splatoon squid icon, while the custom fan comes with an illustration of Smallfry, the lesser Salmonid that also appeared in Splatoon 3.
Nintendo has also shared codes that players can input to access the Splatoon Raiders designs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, provided they have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription:

In the same article, Nintendo also reminds players that they can scan a Splatoon amiibo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to unlock items themed after the game series. The same amiibo can also be used to summon Cece and Viche as additional villagers.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is readily available worldwide on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The Splatoon Raiders item designs are helping to promote the game that Nintendo will release worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2026.
