Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update Coming in November 2021

An Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct is scheduled for October 2021, with an update for the title set to release in November 2021. Originally teased by Nintendo in a Twitter post in July 2021, the upcoming Direct was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct stream. It also included a brief teaser trailer showing a bit of Brewster’s cafe, The Roost, in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons museum.

The last patch for Animal Crossing: New Horizons came in August 2021 and addressed multiple in-game bugs while adding several seasonal items. The previous July update added the summer fireworks events.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct is scheduled for a currently unspecified date in October 2021, with the new update coming in November 2021. The title is currently available for the Nintendo Switch. Since its release in March 2020, the game has sold almost 32 million copies.
