How to get Animal Crossing New Horizons’ Pocket Camp Items

Back during the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct, Nintendo confirmed there would be some kind of effort to link it with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the mobile game. Now that the Nintendo Switch game is available, people can start the process. Fortunately, it isn’t too difficult to get the Animal Crossing New Horizons Pocket Camp items. It mainly relies on linking the mobile game to the same My Nintendo account you use on your console.

The official website goes through the steps to get your goodies in-game. To start acquiring your Animal Crossing New Horizons Pocket Camp items, you first need to make sure you have Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on your phone or tablet. Once you are in the game, you have to link it to the same My Nintendo account as the one on your Nintendo Switch. After you do, head to My Nintendo in the mobile game’s menu. There will be a free item at the very top of this page called “Animal Crossing: New Horizons Special Order Ticket + 50 Leaf Tickets.”

At this point, you want to make sure you are ready to either take a screenshot or grab a pen and some paper. Once you redeem the “Animal Crossing: New Horizons Special Order Ticket + 50 Leaf Tickets” offer, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will show you a 16-digit code. This is an eShop code to enter on the Nintendo Switch. If you have multiple accounts on your system, remember to redeem this to the account you are using to play Animal Crossing: New Horizons. (Don’t worry about the Leaf Tickets; those were sent to you in the mobile game the moment you redeemed the offer.)

Now, you won’t be able to immediately get the Animal Crossing New Horizons Pocket Camp items in the Nintendo Switch game. By redeeming the eShop code, they are added as optional Nook Shopping Promotions items. After a while, you will be able to get things like Timmy and Tommy’s Fortune Cookie Cart and small RVs to decorate your home in the Nintendo Switch game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for the Nintendo Switch. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is available for Android and Apple iOS devices, and it already had its own New Horizons-themed event.
