Animal Crossing teases the thought of Mario Kombat

We all know there is a fighting game with Mario, Luigi and other characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, but the arcade cabinet in Animal Crossing: Wild World doesn’t show Super Smash Brothers. As seen in the photo above, the faux machine shows two characters that are reminiscent of other famous plumbers owned by Nintendo. Perhaps, Nintendo was making a joke about Super Mario Virtua Fighter?

Yes, Animal Crossing: Wild World is “old”, pushing on three years old, but I’m not sure how many people noticed this. Many, many years went by without anyone mentioning the creepy hog heads shouting “Kill” in one of the backgrounds in Dance Dance Revolution 4^th Mix.
