Animate your doodles in DS “Drawing Training”

Agatsuma Entertainment is adapting a series of child oriented drawing books into a Nintendo DS title. Essentially, Ichi-nichi Juu-pun de e ga Jouzu ni Kakeru DS is the equivalent of drawing training software for the DS. Don’t expect to purchase this and turn into Escher, the program is geared for elementary artists. However, there is a feature that makes the title stand out. Your scribbles can be used in mini-games. Pictures over at Famitsu show a racing game, a whack-a-mole style game and a dolphin jumping through a hoop. I imagine plenty of people will think of amusing ways to tweak these mini-games. I’m thinking of replacing the cute critters in the animal race with crudely drawn ships from Gradius and R-Type.
