Tomy also has a Naruto fighting game for Japan this year. Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special is coming to Wii with a 41 character roster. Scans from V-Jump confirm Sage Naruto, Ino, Shikamaru, Rock Lee, Sasuke, Jiraiya, and Kakashi are playable. Returning characters will have new combos.

Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special has online battles. While Nintendo Wi-Fi fights and rival cards are old hat for the West, this feature is new for Japan. Last year, Tomy released Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles in Japan instead of a fighting game like Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3.

Atlus and Tomy will release Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles in North America on November 16.
