Another Xbox Live double header tomorrow: Pinball FX and Eets: Chowdown

Tomorrow two new games are coming out worldwide for Xbox Live Wednesdays. There aren’t many pinball games titles in development and that makes Pinball FX sort of stand out. The motion based control system makes it an anomaly. If you have the Vision camera you can hook it up and play Pinball FX by flailing your arms to move the flippers. Kudos to Zen Studios for doing what only a handful of developers are experimenting with, using the vision camera to control games. Eets: Chowdown is the other game and it is a little harder to explain. It’s a puzzle game kind of like Lemmings where you guide Eets’ to an exit point at the end of each level, but it has its own unique sense of humor that keeps it fresh. There is also a new action oriented Marsho Madness game, but what Eets: Chowdown is missing is a community creating new puzzles for people to play. Eets: Chowdown could have been an excellent “Game 3.0” title, like its PC counterpart, but there isn’t a level editor. Both games cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10) and you can read additional details on them the break.
