Apple Arcade Launches September 19, 2019 With A 1-Month Free Trial

During the September 2019 Apple Special Event, the Apple Arcade launch date was announced. On September 19, 2019, the game service will be available. It will be $4.99 per month for a family subscription. In addition, there will be a one-month free trial for people. The App Store will also have an Arcade tab.

 

In addition to the service details, three new games were revealed. Konami will have Frogger in Toy Town available through Apple Arcade at launch. Capcom will bring a new, underwater platformer game called Shinsekai: Into the Depths. Finally, Annapurna will bring a rhythm game called Sayonara Wild Hearts to the service.

 

In addition, one screenshot during the presentation listed a number of developers and publishers who will have games available through Apple Arcade. Bandai Namco, Capcom, Chucklefish, Devolver Digital, Konami, Lego, Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft, and WayForward logos all appeared.

Apple Arcade will launch for Apple iOS devices, Macs, and Apple TVs on September 19, 2019.
