“Let’s create a new project together!” states a new job listing that Aquaplus posted, revealing that the company is going on a mass recruitment to put together a team to work on new Utawarerumono and To Heart series, and more.

The company is currently recruiting designers who can handle 3D modeling for the character designs by Aquaplus artists, asking candidates how they’d feel to make cute characters come to life.

The three positions that are in need are 3D CG designer (character modeling), 3D CG designer (character motion), and graphics programmer. The character modeling 3D CG designer involves work using Maya and Softimage, the character motion 3D CG designer will work with Softimage. The graphics programmers will handle shaders, post-effect research, and development.

Aquaplus’ only requirements for the three positions is to be able to cheerfully work with others well and able to commute to Tokyo. Recommended but not necessary is game development experience in Unity and Unreal Engine 4.
