Back in June 2019, Compile Heart revealed that an Arc of Alchemist Nintendo Switch version would be arriving in Japan in October 2019. At the time, no worldwide release was confirmed, but the North American and European PlayStation 4 version was bumped from Winter 2019 to Early 2020. Now, Idea Factory International has confirmed the Nintendo Switch version will appear in other regions in early 2020 as well.

The European physical and digital release situation was also worked out. The PlayStation 4 version will be available via both means in those countries. However, people in Europe will only be able to get the Arc of Alchemist Nintendo Switch version digitally through the eShop.

As for the new features, both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions will include the options introduced in the Nintendo Switch version in Japan. Instead of only being able to control Quinn, people will be able to step into the shoes of the other characters too. Every party member, like Axel, Jester, Micah, Rune, Sandra, or Sharon, can be the player character. The improved UI is now present, more base facilities will be available, and there will be more items to collect.

Arc of Alchemist is available on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. It will come to North America and Europe in early 2020.
