Schatte ～The Witch and the Fake Shadow～ has players using the powers of a shadow witch, one who can manipulate shadows to teleport, change environments, or affects her enemies.
Schatte ～The Witch and the Fake Shadow～ will have players working through a shadowy world full of twisted monsters, using the very darkness to fight them. The witch can step on an enemy’s shadow to freeze them in place, dive inside nearby shadows to avoid their attacks, stomp on shadows to cause damage, or even exert their will over a shadow to control an enemy, using them against their comrades. To do all of this, though, players will need to guide Lumiere, their fairy lantern bat, to cast light on the battle in just the right way.
Players will also be using shadows to get around the game’s world. By manipulating the right shadows, players can teleport from one dark spot to another, make invisible objects materialize by contacting their shadows, or by making a double of the protagonist that can be moved independently of the main character.
