Asagi DLC & Disgaea Fans Raise Over 1 Million Yen For Earthquake Relief

imageAsagi may never get her own game, but she is a hero in her own right. To raise money for Tohoku earthquake relief, Nippon Ichi released a special version of Asagi as Disgaea 4 downloadable content. All of the proceeds from the 100 yen ($1.30) character would go towards reconstruction efforts.

 

Nippon Ichi announced Asagi raised 1,199,646 yen ($15,410), which means over 12,000 people purchased the DLC character. The publisher thanked everyone for their support and said all of the money will be donated under the name Disgaea fans.
