Asian Market-Oriented Online Shooter Titanfall Online Cancelled

Recommended Videos

Titanfall Online, an online free-to-play spinoff of Titanfall that would have been exclusive to Asian markets, has been canceled by Nexon and EA. [Thanks, Venture Beat!]

The two companies have reportedly invested more than three years on the project, but the online game market changed quite a lot during its development, leading to the companies cancelling the game “under a business decision”.

According to Nexon, “After much deliberation, it was decided that reallocating development resources to another project was better for the company.”

Titanfall Online, originally slated for PC, has officially been cancelled as of July 9, 2018.
