Asteroids crash onto Xbox Live Arcade

The only game coming to Xbox Live Arcade this week is a remake of Asteroids. Asteroids Deluxe updates the visuals with HD graphics and adds a high speed throttle monkey mode as a new challenge. If you’re a purist you can play the original game with vector graphics too. Like the other Atari remakes, Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe will set you back 400 Microsoft Points ($5) when it comes out on Wednesday. 

Hmm… whatever happened to Omega Five? Hudson had their shooter slated for a release in November and this is the last week to squeeze it in. Unless a surprise announcement is coming, it's delayed until who knows when.
