Atari announced it is bringing back two classic games during Summer Game Fest 2026, with one being Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered with Toho and Pipeworks and the other being Barbie Rewind with Digital Eclipse. Both the remaster and the collection will appear in November 2026.
Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered will appear first. That will be on the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on November 3, 2026. In addition to being a remaster of the fighting game with some quality of life unlocking changes and gallery items, this version will allow for both local and online multiplayer.
Here’s the first trailer for that Godzilla game remaster:
As for Barbie Rewind, it is a collection of 16 games. That will be on the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. That shows up on November 12, 2026. In addition to the new titles, there’s a DreamHouse decoration element and digital Lookbook.
Some of the games confirmed for that collection are:
- Barbie
- Barbie Diaries: High School Mystery
- Barbie Game Girl
- Barbie: Groovy Games
- Barbie Horse Adventures: Blue Ribbon Race
- Barbie Pet Rescue
- Barbie: Race & Ride
- Barbie: Super Model
- Barbie Super Sports
- Barbie: Vacation Adventure (previously unreleased)
- Secret Agent Barbie: Royal Jewel Mission
We can see the first look at the collection here, and it shows off some snuppets of a number of the games that will return:
If someone gets the $59.99 deluxe edition through Atari, that also comes with a Barbie that puts the doll in an Atari shirt. Pre-orders for it are open, and there’s concept art showing how that will look.
These mark the third and fourth recent remasters and compilations of classic games to come back. At the beginning of June 2026, Atari and Digital Eclipse announced Toy Story: Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition.
