Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky wouldn’t be a proper sequel to Atelier Ayesha if the game didn’t have some returning characters. Dengeki PlayStation confirmed Wilbell voll Erslied, the witch who hasn’t mastered the broomstick flying spell, is a playable character in Atelier Escha & Logy. Wilbell is 18 in this game (she was 14 in Atelier Ayesha) and has been traveling from place to place. With help from a former friend, Wilbell made a pact with a wind spirit. Gust designed a new beige dress for Wilbell and her pointy witch hat has stars on it.
Lucille is a new character and she is Escha’s junior in the Center organization. She’s 14 years old and has been studying medicine. Lucille wears a green dress with a yellow jacket on top of it and a yellow nurse’s cap. She’s also a bit shorter than Wilbell and her blood type is A.
Escha and Logy handle alchemy differently so each of them have their own system. Specific details haven’t been revealed, but the game also has a new secret power system where you use points you gathered. These points appear on the map as shiny spots and one area that has them is a field where magma flows freely.
Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky has a bunch of musicians contributing to the game including: Acrylicstab, Haruka Shimotsuki (also did work on earlier Gust games), Chiriwaka, Kanako Ito, Annabel, Junca Amaoto, Suginami Junior Chorus, Asako Nasu, and Rurutia.
Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky comes out for PlayStation 3 on June 27 in Japan.
