Gust made some major changes to the Atelier series battle system for Atelier Ayesha. Sure, you still create items like bombs, but the upcoming PlayStation 3 game introduces distance and an area of effect for alchemic attacks. Players can also move around the battlefield to reach nearby allies for a partner attack or sneak behind an enemy to strike with a back attack.

 

Atelier Ayesha comes out in Japan on June 28.
