It seems like it was only yesterday that Rorona was a pie-loving 14-year-old alchemist in Atelier Rorona, but she’s all grown-up now, and appears as the mother of the protagonist in Atelier Lulua. This week’s issue of Famitsu provides a peek at Rorona’s new appearance with an illustration by Mel Kishida. 
In addition to a special Famitsu-exclusive 3D gravure shot featuring Lulua and her friend Eva, the magazine has a closer look at Rorona including a look at her 3D model. The magazine reveals a new male character who is said to be handsome, and returning characters who will appear in unexpected ways. 
Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland releases in Japan in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It’ll release in the West in Spring 2019 for PS4, Switch, and PC. You can read the latest from character designer Mel Kishida and producer Junzo Hosoi in our previous report.
