Koei Tecmo and NHN PlayArt are hosting a closed beta test for the upcoming smartphone RPG Atelier Online, and they’ve begun taking applications for the testing period that starts July 2.
Applications for the Atelier Online closed beta will be available until June 25 at 3:00pm JST, and those of you interested can apply here. Only 3,000 people will be selected (1,500 for iOS and 1,500 for Android).
Those who end up being selected for the closed beta test will get a chance to try the game from July 2 at 3:00pm JST to July 6 at 3:00pm JST. While the tester data will be reset, it’ll give players a first chance to try it out while helping the developers with feedback on its network, game balance, and more.
It’s also been announced that Atelier Online has topped 200,000 pre-registrations, so all players will get a free Rorona character plus 10 gacha rolls for a chance to get her equipment.
Atelier Online is in development for iOS and Android.
