Atelier Ryza Trailer Shows Speedy Battles And Flashy Special Attacks That We Can Get Behind

We recently learned details on Atelier Ryza’s battle system that comes with Mode Change, Tactics Level, Break & Breakdowns, and more. Gust released a new trailer that gives us a closer look at the basics of battle.

In addition to the cheeky thumbnail from Gust, the video gives us a look at the “real-time tactics battle” system that is made with a sense of speed in mind. Party members perform follow-up attacks with Action Orders. Most of the damage comes from skills that are used with accumulated AP (Action Points).

The video highlights a few flashy special attacks. It also notes that players will get to select difficulty options so those who aren’t good at battles can still enjoy.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Scarlet Hideout releases for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 26, 2019.
