Atlus announced on social media that people can get the English and French versions of volume 1 of the Persona 3 manga for free via the Reload website as of September 23, 2025. It noted it is a gift to thank people for their support. However, the company didn’t tell us how long it will be available. This is the full first digital copy, which originally debuted in September 2016, and normally costs $13.99.

As of time of writing (2:10pm ET on September 23, 2025), the link in both the tweet and in the manga section on the website is broken for both the English and French versions. However, this will eventually lead to a pdf of the first volume of the Persona 3 manga. This is a retelling of the events of the original game, starting from the protagonist returning to Tatsumi Port Island years after his parents died, joining Gekkoukan High School, and staying at a dorm that turns out to be designated for SEES members who fight Shadows at Tartarus during the secret Dark Hour every night.

This comes ahead of the Switch 2 release of Persona 3 Reload. As part of the preparations for that version, Atlus shared a new Beginner’s Gameplay Guide showing how the JRPG works. It offers a story summary and shows the difference between daily school life and dungeon-crawling. A demo is also available for that version of the game.

Persona 3 Reload will come to the Switch 2 on October 23, 2025, and the demo is available worldwide now. The game is already on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the same trial is available on those platforms too.
