Attack on Titan 2 Has Online 4v4 Team Battles And Full Story Mode Co-op

Koei Tecmo shared some multiplayer info on the upcoming action game Attack on Titan 2 with details on a couple modes in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

 

The online play modes comes with a “Versus” mode described as an annhiliation mode with 4v4 team battles.

 

As for the “Co-op” part of online play, it’ll let you work together to relive the experience of story mode with other players. You can take on missions together or even customize equipment together with a joint-development feature. When working on gear together with other players, it’ll be possible to gather the required materials and all players acquire the modified equipment.

 

In case you missed it, Keith Shadis, Kitz Weilman, Dot Pixis, and Darius Zackly were announced as the game’s latest playable characters.

 

Attack on Titan 2 releases in Japan on March 15, 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game releases in North America and Europe on March 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
