Attack on Titan‘s gameplay elements appear to go out of their way to simulate the Survey Corps experience. The Decisive Battle Signal can be set off after filling a Decisive Battle Meter by rescuing Survey Corps members. It summons every ally in the area to the player’s side for a huge attack, during which attack is raised, blades won’t wear out, and Omni-Directional Mobility Gear gas won’t be used. In addition, the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear, blades, and scabbards can be improved with materials to make them stronger, faster, and generally better. Finally, the Scout Mode lets a player take up to three online allies with them outside the wall to fight titans and take missions in a Farm Village, the Forest of the Giant Trees, Ruined Town, and Stohess District.
