As mentioned before Story of Seasons Switch is a full remake of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town and More Friends of Mineral Town, which appeared on the Game Boy Advance. It features new elements, like extra love interests. It will also be available with English, French, German, and Spanish translations.

Here’s the Story of Seasons Switch release date trailer. It spends about a minute and a half looking at elements like farming, animal husbandry, socializing, and even marriage. At the one minute mark, it even shows a same-sex relationship, a romantic relationship that wasn’t possible in the original game.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town has done rather well in Japan. Back at the end of February 2020, the series’ character designer confirmed that it had passed 200,000 units sold in Japan.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch in Japan and will come to both Australia and Europe on July 10, 2020. It will also come to North America in 2020.
