In a recent interview, Inti Creates president Takuya Aizu talked a little bit about the localization of Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, which will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS sometime this summer. Aizu specifically mentions the feedback they received on the English translation for the first game and noted that 8-4, the team responsible for the translation, would also be working on localizing the sequel. “We are working with 8-4 again on the translation, but as you may know, we got a lot of feedback from the first game in regards to what people thought of its English translation. The team at 8-4 is very much aware of that feedback, so the translation for Gunvolt 2 may vary a little bit from what you saw with the first game. We have the utmost faith in 8-4’s abilities, and have no doubts in our minds that they will produce a fabulous translation.”

In addition to that, Aizu confirmed that Japanese voices will be included in Azure Striker Gunvolt 2. Inti Creates is also still planning to bring the original Gunvolt’s Steam update to the 3DS, which would add Japanese voiceovers as well as a re-translation.   Finally, here is a look at recent concept art for Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, which shows off Gunvolt’s new design.   azure-striker-gunvolt-2-1 Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 will release sometime this summer for the Nintendo 3DS.
