Experience recently announced its latest dungeon crawler, Azure-Winged Chevalier, and it’s been revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine as a remake of the 2010 dungeon RPG Students of the Round that released on PC, Xbox 360, and PSP. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

With it being a remake of Students of the Round, that means the game is set in the same world as Demon Gaze. While not a direct sequel, Demon Gaze released in 2013 as a PS Vita game that was set in the same world as Students of the Round, thousands of years later.

As for what’s new in Azure-Winged Chevalier, it has revamped character visuals, brand-new event CG and monster visuals, as well as revised story and dungeon events. The character creation function allows you to customize classes, abilities, and visuals.

The game will also include Experience’s Stranger of Sword City Revisited as part of a bundle. Lastly, the developers commented that Azure-Winged Chevalier is being developed as the company’s last PlayStation Vita game.

Azure-Winged Chevalier releases for PlayStation Vita in Japan on July 11, 2019 as a digital title and on July 25, 2019 as a physical version. They’re both priced at 6,800 yen.
