Bahamut Lagoon Leads September’s Virtual Console Lineup

For the first time in four months there isn’t a Final Fantasy game on the list. Japanese Wii owners searching for a retro RPG will have to grab Bahamut Lagoon.

Seems like a not so subtle tie in to Blood of Bahamut, which Square Enix just released on the Nintendo DS. Don’t count on Bahamut Lagoon coming to North America, but another title on the list should be heading our way. Interplay will release Earthworm Jim 2 next month, which means we’ll get the game eventually.
