2024 BAFTA Game Awards Winners Listed, Includes Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 was the big winner at the 2024 BAFTA Game Awards, though Alan Wake 2, Super Mario Bros Wonder and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom were also winners at the ceremony held in London on April 11, 2024.

Baldur’s Gate 3 took the BAFTA 2024 Best Game award, along with Music, Narrative and Player’s Choice. Andrew Wincott won Performer in a Supporting Role for his performance as Raphael. The only other games to win multiple awards were Alan Wake 2, Super Mario Bros Wonder and Viewfinder. They all received two awards each.

  • Multiplayer – Super Mario Bros Wonder
  • Music – Baldur’s Gate 3
  • Narrative – Baldur’s Gate 3
  • New Intellectual Property – Viewfinder
  • Performer in a Lead Role – Nadji Jeter as Miles Morales in Spider-Man 2
  • Performer in a Supporting Role – Andrew Wincott as Raphael in Baldur’s Gate 3
  • Technical Achievement – The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
  • Player’s Choice – Baldur’s Gate 3

In addition, the BAFTA Special Award was given to disability charity Special Effect, for their work in helping people overcome barriers to playing games. Their work includes consulting on the Xbox Adaptive Controller and promoting the use of eye tracking technology for control input.
