Bandai Namco announced today that they are creating a new development group called Bandai Namco Amusement Lab Inc., which will focus on developing and operating VR, AR, and MR experiences for Bandai Namco’s repertoire of facilities, such as VR Zone Shinjuku.
The studio was made in order to bring Bandai Namco’s entertainment experiences in this regard to the next level, and will also take care of the management operations, software and hardware development, and network development for such experiences.
The new development group will be officially established on October 1, 2018, and will be based in Bandai Namco Studios headquarters in Tokyo.
