Bandai Namco Releases The First God Eater: Resurrection And God Eater 2 Rage Burst Developer Diary

Recommended Videos

For the first time, North America and Europe will be getting entries in Bandai Namco’s God Eater series, a franchise similar to Monster Hunter. To celebrate and prepare people for the God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst, the company will be releasing a series of developer diaries. The first stars Yusuke Tomizawa and Hiroshi Yoshimura, the producer and director, respectively, of the God Eater series.

The first God Eater developer diary begins with animated footage from both God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst. Tomizawa then reminds people that the worldwide release of both games is coming following the series’ fifth anniversary. Both Tomizawa and Yoshimura express happiness at the English release. Yoshimura also expressed nervousness at fans’ reactions. Links to the Facebook and Twitter accounts were offered, since both men reiterated how important players’ input is to the series. The video closes with Tomizawa saying they hope they can do more developer diary videos, with future ones talking about “new things even Japanese players do not know about.”

North American and European PlayStation 4s, PlayStation Vitas, and Windows PCs will see God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2: Rage Burst in summer 2016.
