God Eater series producer Yusuke Tomizawa and Code Vein director Hiroshi Yoshimura appeared today’s God Eater broadcast by Bandai Namco to talk a bit about Code Vein’s recent delay to 2019.

As previously reported, Bandai Namco delayed Code Vein from its initial September 28, 2018 release window to a general 2019 release. At around the 11:23 mark of the video, they share a bit about the recent delay, where director Hiroshi Yoshimuira apologized again for the delay, but reassures fans that they’re working hard with the goal of making Code Vein into a game that will feel fun the moment you get your hands on it.

Regarding those who may be concerned that the delay of Code Vein might affect the development of God Eater 3, producer Tomizawa reassures that it isn’t the case as both games are being made by separate development teams.

Code Vein releases in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. God Eater 3 is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC.
