Gamescom 2020 has, well, been through a bit. Once the COVID-19 pandemic started to kick off, organizers were tentatively planning for it. Then, Germany’s nationwide event ban turned it into an online-only affair. Now the partners have been revealed for the event, confirming Sega, Microsoft, and Bandai Namco gamescom 2020 appearances.
The official website has the full list of all the companies that will be showing up. Microsoft is listed as “Xbox,” showing the brand will have some sort of announcements connected to it there. Also, while it does say “Sega,” the official list references “Sega Europe.” This could mean a Sega gamescom 2020 announcement could be something like a Football Manager or Total War Saga: Troy reveal.
