The company has also published an official website dedicated to the upcoming Switch version. However, it still has not revealed how the game will look on the Switch. So far, it has only shared sparse details related to the game’s release.

The Switch version of BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! will be available in both physical and digital formats. It will have a price tag of 7,678 yen (~$70.55) in Japan. Those who purchase early physical copies of this single-player rhythm and adventure game will be able to get a bonus poster containing an illustration drawn specifically for the title.

Bushiroad first announced the Switch release at the BanG Dream 6th anniversary stream held on February 28, 2021. Girls Band Party originated as a mobile game released in Japan in 2017 and globally in April 2018. As of April 2021, the mobile game has over 14 million users in Japan and 6 million downloads for the global client. The Japanese client added content from Atlus’s Persona series in 2018. Recently, the global version collaborated with the popular Hololive English Vtuber Gawr Gura in April 2021.

BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! for Nintendo Switch will be available on September 16, 2021.
